Our Campaigns

Advocacy for a dedicated energy negotiation track under the UNFCCC to address the urgent issue of energy-related emissions. The open call aims to bring together a broad coalition of ENGOs, IGOs, and civil society to transform global energy systems negotiations under one umbrella track as around 80% of anthropogenic emissions are energy-related but the current climate governance framework system still lacks mechanisms to govern energy systems effectively. The energy agenda is spread across several negotiation tracks, and often ends up deprioritized altogether. The Global Stocktake, which only happens every five years, is far from sufficient.
